Significant Increase in Biodiversity at the First Nature-friendly Solar Park

In the first year of operation, species richness has already increased in the surveyed area according to the latest results of the biodiversity survey The study period, which began in 2023 and spans three full years, has its first-year results released by SolServices Ltd., the operator of Lumen Park Szolnok. Clean Energy in a Nature Friendly Way

Since 2017, we have been present in the development and permitting of large-scale solar parks in Hungary. Over the past nearly decade, we have reached a point where we now hold a market-leading position in this sector. With a holistic approach to solar park development, our key goal is to contribute to the climate-friendly transformation of the Hungarian energy sector by developing solar parks that maximize ecological and social value creation. In the first four years of our existence, we developed and permitted 1,000 MW of solar power capacity, including our own investment—the Lumen Park Szolnok—with an installed capacity of 138 megawatts. Following this, Lumen Park Szászberek has also started green energy production with an additional 68 megawatts of capacity.
