LUMEN PARK SZOLNOK
SolServices’ first self-invested solar park is built next to the county seat of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, on the outside of the M4 highway that bypasses the city from the north. The building process of the solar park started in the summer of 2021 and was completed at the end of 2022 with the test run. The facility built next to Szolnok is Hungary’s and the CEE region’s largest and first next-generation, nature-friendly solar park.
The total installed capacity of Lumen Park Szolnok, which builds up from two facilities, is 138 megawatts. Its importance is clearly shown by the fact that it can produce enough electricity to cover 42 percent of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county’s total residential electricity consumption. Its positive effect is also significant in terms of climate protection. Thanks to the use of environmentally friendly technology, it protects the atmosphere from 39,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually, which is equivalent to the annual CO2 sequestration of 274 hectares of oak forest – three times the area of Tiszaliget in Szolnok.
SolServices’s Lumen Park Szolnok project is the first next-generation solar park in the country, which is not only neutral in terms of its environmental impact but appears as an environment with a particularly positive effect next to the city limits. The implementation of the solar park was carried out according to the most modern sustainability, flora and fauna-friendly paradigms. The most important virtue of a next-generation solar park is that it maximizes the positive impact on the environment: in them, the flora and fauna become stronger and more diverse, and the soil exhausted during decades of agricultural production is refreshed. The solar park can also create an opportunity to install beehives.
Lumen Park Szolnok will be the defining facility of the neighborhood for at least 25 years, which is why SolServices strives for continuous good relationship with the local communities. The project is an important tool for environmentally conscious energy production and attitude formation. The solar park in Szolnok provides the opportunity to hold external lessons for primary and secondary school students. It can present the technology of photovoltaic energy production, the underlying physical and chemical processes and how electricity production and environmental protection can be brought into symbiosis.

LUMEN PARK SZÁSZBEREK
The construction works of SolServices’ second own investment solar park started in August 2022. A next-generation solar park with an installed capacity of 70 megawatts is being built next to the settlement of Szászberek in the county of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok. The development and licensing of the Lumen Park Szászberek already took place in accordance with the guidelines for new-generation solar parks. The most modern 650 watt panels will be installed on fixed support structures settled in a soil-friendly manner. The development takes place in a green field environment.
