The second solar park of SolServices Kft., which is being built as a private investment, is being built near the settlement of Szászberek in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County. The investment started in the summer of 2022 and was completed at the end of 2023, from which time the completed solar park will be connected to the public grid in commercial operation.

The significance of the project, which will be established on the outskirts of the settlement and has a total installed capacity of 69 MW, is clearly demonstrated by the fact that after its implementation, it will be able to produce enough electricity to cover 21 percent of the total residential electricity consumption of the county. Its positive impact is also significant in terms of climate protection. Thanks to the application of environmentally friendly technology, we protect our atmosphere from approximately 20 thousand tons of CO2 emissions annually, which is equivalent to the annual CO2 sequestration of 140 hectares of oak forest.

The implementation of the solar park is taking place along the most modern sustainability, flora and fauna-friendly paradigms. The most important virtue of a new generation solar park is that it maximizes the positive environmental impact: the flora and fauna in them become stronger and more diverse, and the soil depleted by decades of agricultural production is refreshed.
